Mike Kitt
is from Long Island, New York and just finished up 4 years in college this May. He attended a Junior College in Long Island then transferred to Mars Hill College. In his senior season at Mars Hill College, Mike hit .446 and was named to the First Team All Conference, Gold Glove Team, Baseball State Champion: Batting Average & Runs Scored per Game. He was ranked in the top 10 nationally rankings in several categories. He was also named to the Division II Player of the Year Candidate, and in his first 2 years at Junior College was named All American, All Region, and Player of the Year. He was ranked in the Top 10 Prospects for the Southern Collegiate Baseball League in the summer of 2009. Mike is living here in South Carolina training, while waiting for the 2010 MLB Draft, and was invited to Pre Draft Showcase in Georgia on May 23rd and also to the California Winter League for January 2011. His goal is to help young players reach their highest potential in the game of baseball. He looks forward to passing on his knowledge of baseball to anyone that is willing to get better.

Rob Dobbins
is from Greenville, SC and attended Berea High School and just finished his sophomore year at Mars Hill College in North Carolina. He was AAA All Region Short Stop, SC Coaches Association North/South All Star Team & Homerun Derby participant, SC HSSSR All State Team and SC First Annual No Split All Star Player of the Year . In 2008 He was Berea High School’s Offensive MVP. While at Mars Hill Rob started as Designated Hitter and split time in left field. He hit .320 his sophomore year. Rob is available for individual and team instruction at The Designated Hitter.

Taylor Harbin
INACTIVE: Concentrating on his baseball career
Former Clemson Tiger baseball and current Arizona Diamondback minor league player, Taylor Harbin will be giving lessons
at The Designated Hitter on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Taylor was a standout at Travelers Rest High School where
he set the South Carolina home run record and was Player of the Year his senior season. He then went to Clemson
University and played for Coach Jack Leggett, starting all three years. He was Freshman All- American and was invited
for a try-out for the USA Pan Am team. Taylor was drafted in his senior year in the 8th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks
in the MLB draft. He has been in the organization for two years and received Player of the Year for both minor
league teams (Missoula Osprey and South bend Silver Hawks). Taylor has been working with players from many of the
area high schools and middle schools and is available until he reports for Spring Training.

Tim Wetter
is retired from Connecticut State Police and is co-owner of the business. Tim has two grown sons and a younger son that he coached and taught, each one respected for his playing ability. He coached little league in the New England area from Tee Ball, Minors, Majors and American Legion for fifteen years. He now instructs players at The Designated Hitter and has great success in improving the skills of hitters and pitchers alike. A continuing student of Randy Phillips, our pro-level instructor, Tim is always willing to give tips and helpful advice to players when they come to The Designated Hitter. Dalton Knight
INACTIVE: Playing baseball at North Greenville University
is a rising senior at Berea High School and a varsity baseball player since 2005. His batting average in 2007 was .415 and in 2008 it was .406. He has ten home runs and has been named All Region Catcher both years, and in 2007 was named Offensive MVP.
Dalton enjoys baseball and helping others learn the sport. He is available by appointment throughout the summer for lessons in hitting and catching.

Angela Cox
Originally from Flowery Branch, Georgia, she has been playing organized softball since the age of 6. Prior to high school she played Park and Recc ball where
she won the Park and Rec State Championship at each age level, along with many other regional tournaments.
Her high school team won their region twice, and made showings at the state playoffs twice. In her senior year she was named "Who's Who Among High School
Athletes", and was also awarded the "Spartan Shield", a leadership award given by the faculty and staff. In addition to the high school team, she also played
on a "premier" travel team, winning numerous tournaments, both in state and out of state. A showing at the ISA World Championship Tournament in Huntsville,
Alabama ended in an 11th place finish from a field of 30 teams from all over the country.
Angela graduated high school with a softball scholarship to North Greenville University in Greenville, SC, making her the first softball player in the history
of her school to be awarded this. While at North Greenville University she was a four year starter. Her first year they earned a spot in the NCCAA National
Tournament in Indiana.
Angela has played numerous positions throughout her playing years, but her primary position in college was outfield. She has worked and participated in a
variety of camps facilitated by players such as Lisa Fernandez and Natasha Watley, Angela has coached and given private instruction to girls of all ages.
After playing in colleges she became the assistant coach at North Greenville University for one year, followed by a move to Georgia and the Assistant Coach
position at Flowery Branch High School. Angels currently resides in Greenville and is the head coach for Berea Middle School. She structured all of the
strength and conditioning for her players, and is certified in Olympic Weightlifting and Speed and Agility Training.
